Where is the best spot to watch the players at the First Major?

We suggest the grandstand behind the 12th tee. You have to get there early! But when play rolls through it’s the best seat at the course. You get to see the approach and putting on 11, all of the 12th, and the tee shot coming back on 13. There’s a concession stand right behind the bleachers and bathrooms nearby

Is there a recommended meeting spot at the First Major?

We suggest that you meet underneath the large scoreboard when you first hit the course. If you try to meet at the concessions or pro shop before that, the huge number of guests can make it hard to find each other. Especially without cell phones! Another possible meet up location is by the oak tree behind the clubhouse. You’ll get a chance to view players, caddies, TV presenters and more as they meet and interact with each other and the fans.

Can I get cash at the course?

Yes- there are several ATMs located on its premises.

What is the weather like at the First Major?

In early April, Augusta temperatures range from highs around 80 and lows near 50. We recommend a mix of cold gear for night, and warm gear for the course. Always bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.

We would be happy to provide recommendations and assist you with making reservations at the best restaurants and bars in town.
